Maria has extensive experience working with children, young people and families in both the private and public sectors. She has worked in a variety of schools for over 10 years, connecting with young people and families and supporting them to navigate the issues they struggle with. Maria applies her expertise in mental health, learning, and behavior, to help children and youth succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. Maria works collaboratively with families, teachers, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive environments that strengthen connections between home, school, and the community.
More recently she has taken on an interest in treatment of children’s bed-wetting (also known as enuresis). Maria finds that whilst parents are crossing many barriers, talking about topics unique to parenting that were previously not discussed – children’s bed-wetting is still lagging behind and not being brought out in the open. Most of the time a course of treatment at Dry Time Kids using the Ramsey Coote bed-wetting alarm will see your child permanently dry in a matter of weeks.
